Why this blog?
To gather together local music music venues- be they theaters, bars, parks, or streets- that feature live music consistently at little or no cover. The idea is to find places that are known as spots for music, maybe not known by the public at large (but they can be at well) but known but someone. By compiling these places, be they bars, breweries, coffee shops, or public parks it will be easy to show up in a city and know where you will be able to find music. These places may be new or they may be covered in history and stories. In gathering information on this locations, I'll update them and try and keep the information current. So really its more a chronicling then a blogging, but lets not debate the finer points. And of course, if something is incorrect, speak up.
